Digital Signage Forum Review: A Miracle Has Happened with this 10.2 Inch powerful Digital Signage solution!

Let’s face it. Everyone needs a miracle in their life from time to time. Miracle Integrations Systems, Inc. delivers an unprecedented high contrast flash/video Digital Signage Content Media Player with touch screen in  10.2” LCD package with all of the punch!

We based this review on our Digital Signage Forum criteria of packaging, level of understanding product directions and installation, ease of use for set-up and overall performance plus speed of software and all applicable unit specifications that apply to the mission statement results which is a comprehensive Digital Signage Solution.

1) Packaging

The packaging arrived intact and everything included was very well protected.

2) Level of understanding of product directions and installation.

Installation of the supplied software was very fast and flawless. It took us under 1 minute to have the software installed and running in our test environment.

3) Ease of use for set-up and overall performance.

Our test unit had only a RJ45 input, flash card slot, power input and speaker jack. Setting the unit up was a simple process. Simply plug in the power supply (and speakers, if your application calls for it). The screen automatically detects power (no power switch to turn on) and starts searching for a signal. We used a supplied flash card for our test and it took a few moments it to find and start displaying the media. Once the ad started to play, we were very much pleased with the output. Clean, crisp images with good but not overpowering brightness.

4) Speed if software/ scheduler and ease of help files.

The DigiSignage Adfotain Software (Transcoder LE) recognized many media formats including AVI, Power Point, Power Point Slide Show, Shockwave, mpeg files and Windows Media. The software transcoded the files chosen into their proprietary format within a few minutes. This was quite acceptable given the sizes of some of the files we ran on it.

The network software may be utilized through any standard web browser to schedule content and manage your network. The authoring and run-time reporting is easily accessible plus one IP address is available per unit.

5) Accuracy of spec sheet or PDF files.

All documentation included with our demo model was accurate and complete. All dimensions for the unit were given in both Metric and English units. This might not seem like a big deal, but try converting 893mm to English units in your head while trying to get everything else on your plate finished as well.


6) Appearance after installed or set-up is completed.

Depending on your application, it is quite possible to flush mount this unit into the wall. Everything is hidden behind the mounting point and the install is clean and flawless. We could easily see this product embedded into the wall next to a rack of sneakers or stereo equipment, drawing the consumer in. This solution is also easy to move to different end-caps depending on the sale or promotion of the day.

7) Audio

The sound port was very easy to locate and even though speakers do not come with the unit we were sent a pair of Sony speakers to use and the sound quality that came out of this unit and speakers is incredibly clear and concise for attention getting signage and makes it very cost effective sound solution for the total package.

Warranty: The unit has a 6 week availability and is manufactured in Taiwan-- plus they offer a one year manufacturers warranty with each unit.

Summary: The greatest selling point of this solution is the touch screen and interactivity capability with bar code readers and printers. We were sent loaded content of movie trailers and we tested the screen with multiple users by placing them in the room with the screen without mentioning the screen or why they were there and what we were looking for. Within 60 seconds each user that visited the test area were like bees to honey and were immediately drawn to the screen. We were very impressed with the dual action processor performance and capabilities as there were no motion artifacts even in the quickest of scenes.  They began using the screen by eagerly touching the choices and options. This solution is a crowd pleaser and the size of this screen and ease of software make this a great Digital Signage solution at the point of purchase.

The best thing about this solution is that this is a wonderful point of purchase unit to educate, inform and entertain about products and services. It is almost like an added sales person or employee (that you only have to pay for once) and a solution that can be shipped and ready to go when you realize you frantically realize your competitor has digital signage and you need a quick, but upgradeable and solid solution.
