As soon as I read the words from Josh Coffman (our Central Region Conference representative) about q tags-- I affectionately termed the phrase as cute tags just to entertain myself (I have to do this on a daily basis) but the official and correct terminology is really qtags.

What is qtags?

qtags is text messaging cellular technology that allows a consumer who views content that they want to remember-- receive more information by text messaging the special qtag word from a cellular phone to 78247(qtags).

Yes, Digital Signage friends...it is that simple.

The huge thing that people are forgetting is that this isn't just about convenience, it is about demographics for the 13-23 age group.

This age group is so addicted to text messaging that they use this technology many times on a daily basis. If you don't believe me ask any parent who has a child or children on the infamous family plan!

We are not affiliated with the service but firmly believe if your product or advertisement revenues depend on this demographic-- using qtag could be very lucrative for your Digital Signage Networks.
